Strike a Balance 2019
Direction Home of Eastern Ohio is excited to announce our 4th Annual Strike a Balance Walk-a-thon & Health Fair. We are excited to present our event in a beautiful, walking friendly venue with the help of our co-sponsor, Ashtabula Towne Square. Please join us for a health fair, walking, health screenings by our health partner, University Hospitals, a free lunch, and much more. The goal of Strike a Balance is to bring awareness to National Fall Prevention Month by walking 1 million steps during our event. Falls are not a normal part of aging. Most falls can be prevented!
15-20 Minutes of Walking Each Day Helps Older Adults:
- Keep muscles strong and flexible
- Prevent weight gain
- Lower risk of chronic disease
- Improve balance and prevent falls
We could not present our 4th Annual Strike a Balance Walk-a-thon & Health Fair without our dedicated sponsors! Thank you for your commitment to healthy aging!
