How to become a Title III/SBG provider

The Older Americans Act funding, known as Title III, and the State Block Grant (SBG) funds are contracted through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. This is a public process, as required by the Older Americans Act, through which the funding available is bid on by organizations interested in providing a service or services.

The Title III/ SBG funds are contracted on a three year basis. The current contracts expire December 31, 2007. New contracts will be awarded in 2007, with a January 2008 start date.
