Housing

Finding a place to call home or figuring out how to stay in their home safely can be a challenge for older adults and their families. Area Agency on Aging 11, Inc. has programs that can help older individuals find a place that fits their needs, or can help determine how to make the house they have fit their needs. For individuals considering housing choices, the Area Agency on Aging resource guide, Older Adults, includes list of various housing options. For a copy of the resource guide, contact us at 330-505-2300 or 1-800-686-7367.

Beginning in the fall each year, the Agency also oversees the elderly outreach component of the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). The HEAP program is administered by the Ohio Department of Development.
