Emergency Preparedness

Emergencies can happen at any time. Tornados, floods, fires, electrical blackouts, winter storms and terrorist attacks are on the news everyday. While thinking about a disaster happening in our own home or community can be scary, being prepared is the best way to ensure that you'll stay safe. Spend some time planning ahead for the "what-ifs" that can happen and increase your chances of making it through an emergency safely.

Contact your county Emergency Management Agency or Red Cross chapter for information on how you can be prepared in the event of an emergency.
