What is the Older American's Act?
The Older Americans Act of 1965 is the federal level initiative aimed at providing comprehensive services for older adults. Also known as Title III; the Older American Act provides funding - to the 60 and older population - for nutrition, supportive home and community-based services, disease prevention/health promotion services, and elder rights programs.
Who is eligible?
All people 60 years and older are eligible for services. Unfortunately, due to limited funding some services are not available all of the time. Please feel free to contact us to discuss options, availability and waiting lists.
